MESSIANIC MANDATE is proclaiming Messiah in Spirit, truth and power. We present the Gospel in its original and inherently Jewish context to the Jewish people.

Of critical importance is the local Messianic synagogue, a "natural habitat for the natural olive". We are an outreach ministry of City of David Messianic Synagogue in Toronto where there are close to 200,000 Jewish people. Our heart's desire and prayer is to see all Israel saved.
​
We are also labouring to build up the Body of Messiah. We present edifying teaching on Israel and the Jewish foundation of New Covenant faith through ministry engagements, newsletters, seminars and the distribution of a variety of resources in churches throughout the GTA.

Messianic Rabbi Jeffrey Forman is the Rabbi of City of David and has been in full time ministry for 35 years. He currently serves on the Board of the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America and is an executive member of the International Alliance of Messianic Congregations and Synagogues. Rabbi Jeff serves on various ministry boards such as Maoz Canada, Jewish Voice Ministries Canada, and REACH Initiative International.
MESSIANIC MINISTER, WORSHIP DIRECTOR & SPEAKER:

Michael Katz is an ordained Messianic Minister with a degree in Jewish studies and an accreditation in music from the South African Music Institute. He is a dynamic worship leader, musician and speaker. Michael is a passionate man of God and an excellent communicator.
YOUTH LEADER & SPEAKER:
Ari grew up in a Messianic home as the son of Rabbi Jeff and Janet Forman. He is currently completing a master's program in molecular genetics at the University of Toronto and is the co-founder of a biotech startup. He serves on the worship team and is a youth leader at City of David Messianic Synagogue. He recently spoke on the main stage at the Messianic Jewish Alliance of America’s Messiah Conference.

Nancy Gallagher has been an active member of City of David Messianic Synagogue for 22 years. She has taught at the secondary level for 30 years and has now joined the Messianic Mandate team as Communications Director.
